Vesta was acquired in early 2024 and is under new direction with a new maintainer and sponsor. As part of our plan to revitalize Vesta, we are rebuilding it from scratch with full support for modern applications and stack.s.

As I understand, myVestaCP retains the functionality of VestaCP. Is it possible to integrate the new Vesta 2 or incorporate it into myVestaCP?

No, will be many major changes. Vesta 2.0 is built around containers. Containerization with Incus and LXC
More information you can get it from the new development team.
The old development team, including me, is no longer involved in the project processes

Not possible.

First, I understood they will forbid forking their code because of their new license.

Second, while our work (inside myVesta fork) would be broken (because their core code will be a totally NEW hosting panel), we will not move all our server infrastructure just because we "want to follow official VestaCP." I don't need to explain how much work we need to 'move' all infrastructure and functionality — it's pretty impossible.

Anyway, we will maintain a good relationship with the VestaCP team, as we always have.
FileManager will be activated soon for all myVesta users as a donation from the official VestaCP.
