you can also try this to stop ftp logins attempts from bots viewtopic.php?t=753 and for phpmyadmin,roundcube
viewtopic.php?t=756 i only managed to add fail2ban filters for phpmyadmin and proftpd for roundcube i got error waiting for a answer on that post.
