How Do I Resolve 404 Error

After creating subdomains of my main domain name i keep getting a 404 error when i try to reach the domain name on different browsers. the subdomain names are created in "sub.maindomain.com" format. I have had to reinstall the panel in a bid to resolve this issue yet i getting the issue. Is there something I'm not doing right? How can I fix this issue please?
