Hi there!

I have an interesting issue. Here Is what I have setup:

Fresh install of Debian 11
On ESXi VM
4CPU 6GB RAM
On big server we own in DC

Install went just fine- I can get into the web control panel OK. Set up the server as subdomain.domain.com. Server seems to be working fine by what it gives back to me. The host name address is working with Let's Encrypt. SSL shows up fine in the browser for the MyVesta web page.

Here is where it gets tricky.
I then add another domain to serve which is a sub-domain of a different domain than the server.
Server sets up just fine with Let's Encrypt looking like it is going just fine on the server with no errors listed.
I go to the web address that I just created. It comes up, but there is no SSL. I have not put in a sample web page to test with.

This is what comes up from Let's Encrypt:

On the web page of the domain the SSL is not working and in the identity sectuon where it says Verified by it says not specified.

This also happened on another server with MyVesta that I have since wiped. Any ideas of what might be going on? Any Help would be greatly appreciated!

what https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html shows for your subdomain?
you removed www. alias?
because SSL is not generated for www.jams.immworlds.com

did you tried 'force-https' nginx template?

Hi there!
After much interesting checking around we got it going by doing exactly that. Chrome was OK with it but FireFox and othere would not work without turning that on. It was a very interesting problem to solve. We are using MyVesta for serving a web based virtual world system called Immworlds. We have learned a lot in the process!
