Debian 12

do i need to upgrade my server to debain 12 ? if i do that need to rebuild and restore backups right ? or can I stay with debain 11 ?

For now, it is definitely best to stick with Debian 11. There are currently no practical reasons to switch to Debian 12, unless you have personal reasons for doing so. It's possible that there are hidden bugs in Debian 12 that we are not yet aware of, and we will discover them as we gradually transition to that version. Debian 11 will be supported until approximately July 2024, and we will continue to maintain this version during that time.
